In May 2008, whilst on a day out with my family, I came across some beautiful Inuits (wolf-like dogs), all of which I fell in love with.  As I wasn't allowed to take them home with me I was offered the second best thing and so had the pleasure of adopting 6 of them.

Their names are Shadow, Cheyanne, Kimber, Myatook, Sabre and Oscar. I even braved going into their pen to have my photograph taken with some of them as you can see from the attached pictures.

All six Inuits were rescued for various reasons and are currently housed at Rutland Falconry and Owl Centre. Together with the Inuits, Chris Lawton who owns and runs the centre currently houses a fascinating collection of hundreds of birds of prey from all around the world. Rutland Falconry and Owl Centre is well worth a visit if you are at a loss one day and can be found at Burley Bushes, Exton Lane, Exton, Rutland, LE15 7TA. For more information on the centre you can visit their web site at www.rutland-falconry.com.
