As from Saturday 19th November 2011 we will be selling tickets at the salon for our Christmas competition where you could win one of the following prizes:
1st Prize: Cuddly reindeer (worth £30) plus a £15 dog grooming voucher
2nd Prize: £25 voucher for Artizan Hairdressers in Furzton
3rd Prize: Jar of Jelly Beans and £5 dog grooming voucher
4th Prize: Dog Hamper
5th Prize: John Paul pet gift set donated by Evolve Hair Specialists,Fenny Stratford
Tickets are £1.00 each with all money going to SOS Animals. Competition will close on Thursday 22nd December 2011 at 4.00pm and winners will be notified immediately.

DOG PORTRAIT FUND RAISING EVENT
FOR SOS ANIMALS UK
I would like to say a massive thank you to Alison Stewart from Fur Buddies Photography who gave up her time to come and support our fund raising event to help raise urgent funds for SOS Animals. Alison took some amazing photos of all the dogs that attended the event and helped us raise £292 on the day. SOS Animals have informed me that this money wll be going towards transport costs for some dogs that are due to arrive in the UK in January 2012 and who will be going to either their foster or forever homes.
I would like to say a big thank you to all of you who came and supported this event and helping us raise money for a very worthwhile charity. SOS Animals are in desperate need of urgent funds so every penny counts!

FUND RAISING EVENT - 29TH MAY 2011
Well the weather was against us but we made the most of it and managed to raise just over £600 on the day for HULA Animal and SOS Animals. A big thank you to all who volunteered their services on the day and for those of you who came along to give us your support. We all had great fun despite the gail force winds which unfortunately meant our bouncy castle couldn't attend to help us out but otherwise we all enjoyed the experience including the dogs. Well done everyone.
EASTER EGG COMPETITON 2011
We have managed to raise £160 from our Easter Egg Competition for SOS Animals, so a massive thank you to everyone who entered and congratulations to the following winners:

We will be holding more prize draws/competitions over the following months to raise even more money for SOS Animals as they are in desperate need of urgent funds so keep watching for more information and announcements as we have some great prizes up for grabs.
In the meantime, don't forget to come along and support us on Sunday 29th May at Furzton Lake from 12.00pm for our Fund Raising Event to raise even more money for SOS Animals and HULA Animal Rescue. There will be lots to do including a bouncy castle, hula hoop lessons, tombola, cake bake stall and more. HULA Animal Rescue and SOS Animals will also be there with some of their dogs that they have managed to find their 'forever homes'. We also have approx 20 fabulous raffle prizes to give away including dog grooming vouchers, so don't forget to buy your raffle tickets from Cathy when you are next in the salon. Raffle tickets are £1 per strip.

UNWANTED DOG BEDDING/ACCESSORIES
If anyone has any unwanted dog collars, leads, bedding, blankets that they no longer need then please don't throw them away as SOS Animals UK are in desperate need of these for their shelter in Spain. If you do have anything you would like to donate then please bring it to the salon. Any item given no matter how small will make a big difference.Thank you for your help.
